Welcome Back, Kids ‘N Colors Families!
Hi there, wonderful families! I’m so excited to bring you our final newsletter of the year! December has arrived, and with it comes the joy and magic of the holiday season. As we prepare to wrap up 2024, we want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for being part of the Kids ‘N Colors family. Your trust, support, and partnership mean the world to us, and we wish you all a warm and wonderful holiday season! 🎄✨
Preschool House: Learning, Creativity, and Holiday Fun
Our little learners in the Preschool House are ending the year on a high note with fun holiday-themed crafts, activities, and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. December is all about celebrating the season while continuing to build foundational skills.
This month, we’ll focus on:
- Letters: Nn, Oo, Pp
- Numbers: Reviewing 1-15
- Shapes: Star, Diamond
- Colors: Green, Turquoise
- Science: Weather
- Social Studies: Traditions, cultural differences, and holidays around the world
- Virtue: Generosity
- Name Recognition: Recognizing, spelling, tracing, and writing first names
- Opposites: Wet vs. Dry
- Cooking Skill: Measuring
The preschoolers will enjoy a wide range of hands-on projects, from holiday-themed crafts to science experiments exploring the weather. We’ll also teach them about the importance of generosity during the season of giving and share stories about different cultural traditions and celebrations. It’s going to be a month filled with joy and discovery!
Spirit Week: December 16th – December 20th
Mark your calendars for our festive Spirit Week, where the kiddos get to dress up, have fun, and show their holiday cheer!
- Monday, 12/16: Ugly Sweaters – Wear your most festive, wacky sweater!
- Tuesday, 12/17: Tie Dye Day – Get colorful and creative with tie-dye attire!
- Wednesday, 12/18: Wacky Socks – The sillier, the better!
- Thursday, 12/19: Holiday Headgear – Think Santa hats, reindeer antlers, or any fun holiday accessories!
- Friday, 12/20: PJ Day – Cozy up in your favorite pajamas and enjoy Movie Friday with us!
We can’t wait to see all the creative outfits this year!
Bungalow: Holiday Fun for Our Big Kids
In the Bungalow, we’re continuing to support our school-aged learners with homework help, tutoring, and test prep as the year winds down. But of course, it’s not all work—this month is packed with festive fun to keep our kiddos smiling and engaged!
Our Bungalow themes this month include:
- Winter Wonderlands
- Holiday Snacks (yummy and fun!)
- Winter Keepsakes
We’re embracing the holiday spirit with lots of crafts, snacks, and creative projects that allow our learners to express themselves and make lasting memories. Whether they’re creating snowy scenes, decorating holiday treats, or crafting keepsakes to take home, our school-aged kids will have plenty of opportunities to celebrate the season.

Our Bungalow kids will also participate in Spirit Week! Here’s the lineup:

We love seeing our older kiddos join in on the fun and show off their creative style during Spirit Week!

As we close out 2024, we want to thank you for allowing us to be part of your child’s journey. At Kids ‘N Colors, your child’s happiness, growth, and well-being are always our top priorities.
