Hi, wonderful parents! We are so excited to welcome you to November! This month is all about thankfulness, and we’ve got a calendar packed with fun, creativity, and meaningful activities for the kiddos. From keepsakes and crafts to Spirit Days and our Annual Thanksgiving Potluck, we’re ready to dive into this beautiful season together. Let’s take a look at all the exciting things we have planned for your little ones this month.
Little House: Exploring Thankfulness and New Topics
This November, our youngest learners will be exploring all kinds of exciting new subjects and themes. We’ve designed fun and creative ways to help them learn and grow while celebrating the season of gratitude. Here’s what we’re focusing on this month:
- Shapes: Oval, Hexagon
- Social Studies: Family
- Science: Seasons – Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer
- Alphabet: Letters Kk-Mm
- Numbers: 13-15
- Virtue: Thankfulness
Our activities will include everything from creating loving keepsakes to exploring the changing seasons with cool science projects. The little ones will have plenty of opportunities to express their creativity, learn about thankfulness, and celebrate the season in a way that’s fun and meaningful.
Bungalow: Supporting Our School-Aged Learners
November is here, and we’re ready to support our school-aged learners in every way we can! Whether it’s homework help, tutoring, or studying for upcoming tests, our team is here to guide and encourage your children every step of the way.
But just because school is in session doesn’t mean the fun stops! This month, our Bungalow kids will dive into the theme of Family with creative keepsake projects and crafts to welcome the holiday season. It’s the perfect balance of learning and fun, and we’re so excited to see their imaginations shine this month.
Important Dates to Remember
We’ve got some important dates to keep in mind this month:
- Friday, November 8th: Closing early at 4:30 PM
- Monday, November 11th: CLOSED for Veterans Day
- Tuesday, November 26th: Annual Thanksgiving Potluck – Sign up with staff if you’d like to participate!
- Wednesday, November 27th – Friday, November 29th: CLOSED for Thanksgiving Break. We’ll return to our regular hours on Monday, December 2nd.
Spirit Days and Celebrations
In addition to all the fun learning and crafts, we’ll also be celebrating with Spirit Days leading up to our Annual Thanksgiving Potluck! Your children will love getting into the holiday spirit with these special dress-up days and events.
We can’t wait to see all the creativity, smiles, and joy as we celebrate the season of thankfulness together.
